My main research interest is to understand the nature and main mechanisms of human social cognition, especially, how human memory and theory of mind operates and develops. I do research in these fields, and also guides students in discovering them. As a member of the Social Minds Research Group I focus my research on how social partners who are ‘experts’ in such environment modulate the emergence of cognitive capacities through actively stipulating the learning processes of the novice.
Main research topics: Theory of mind, perspective taking, memory development, cultural transmission, social learning
